Greetings
Hi all,
I am New in all ways, passed my test on 1st June this year and bought the bike approx. 6 weeks prior to that. Yes I bought the bike first! Reason being, it seemd to good a deal to miss and I was going to do my bike test anyway the dealer was prepared to store it for me.
The Thundercat is in Blue, registered 2001 with 6,500miles on the clock. The Dealer put 2 new tyres on MOT & Tax and as it had been standing in a garage for 4yrs they fully serviced it.
I have got to say that it has been a bag of fun and can't wait to get on it each time.
I hail from the Peterbrough area, and if there is anyone would like to to go for a ride together let me know - would like to experience a bit of group riding.
John.

Re: Greetings
Hi John,
Welcome to the group and congratulations on getting a Thundercat. Sounds like quite a find.
There are quite a few site members in the Lincs area so someone will probably post up about a meet. I'll do one when work stops getting in the way! Then there's the Taste of Lincs rideout planned for Sept. Have a look at the details you're most welcome to join us. Alternatively post up yourself and see who turns out
Enjoy the bike & stay safe.

Re: Greetings
Hi guys,
thanks for the replies, and so quick.
Staying Safe - the biggest challange.
When I drove just my car I was always on the lookout for bikes as they can appear beside you from nowhere. Now as a point of irony when riding my bike, other bikers are still the other road user I fear most as when you do your life saver or check you mirror you can find that their is another biker there that wasn't there a few seconds ago!!! As I say Ironic!
I will check out the other parts of the forum for meets, and will try and make the Lincs. one in Sept.
