Hi guys. im fairly new to riding, only a year and a half under my belt. unfortunately lost my bandit when i hit an oil spill on a round about but this led me to my beautifull 02 thundercat bout 6months ago. Fallen in love with it already.

Hi Savage,

Welcome to the group. Sorry to hear of your spill, but every cloud has a silver lining! :o

Hope you find the forum useful. We should be able to answer any questions you may have about the 'cat or bike related subjects. Plenty of old on the site Laughing

There's several group ride-outs organised, so if you can make the long trip 'up north' (where most of them are), you're welcome to join us. A year and a half riding experience is good, but if you haven't ridden in a group - here's your chance!

Post up some pics of your 'cat if you can.
Ride safely,

Chris

Hi, welcome and glad to hear you are enjoying your thundercat

I'm gauging interest in a get together for us in the South East, the post is here, something which may be of interest.

Hi Savage

Welcome to the forum.

Your story is uncanny, as it is nearly identical to mine.
I too lost my Bandit on a roundabout and my next bike was my Thundercat. My spill was less oil and more user error though.
The Thundercat is sooo much better in my opinion than the Bandit (600 N-reg I had)

Hope you get to meet up with some of the locals and maybe make a group ride out or two.

Cheers

Hi guys thanks for the great welcome.
a ride out in the south east would be awesome. havent done much group riding so far. just got back from going out with my brother on his brand new gladius and a friend on his zx6r great fun, loved it.

The Tcat is a much nicer bike than the bandit i have to agree. Its a great starting bike but just not enough umph to take you through to the finish.
