New rider in the west midlands
Hello My name is Lawrence i am an 19 year old electrical engineer from Redditch in the west midlands.
I passed my test about 4 weeks ago and 2 weeks later i bought myself a very nice thundercat, 96 and very well looked after just small age related marks.
so i was wondering if there is any other people local to me with a thundercat as i would love to take part in the ride outs.
It has taken me this long to join the forum and write as i have been out enjoying my new ride, and i can truly say im in love with it.

Re: New rider in the west midlands
Hi Lawrence,
Welcome to the site and congratulations on passing your test.
Please post up a pic of your pride and joy if you can. You're welcome to join the ride-outs. Bishops Castle (mid-Wales) is the next one on the 18th June - not too far from you? Details of the others are in the Something for the Weekend section. Also have a look here for the location of some of the other members. You can always post up if you're heading out and see if anyone wants to meet up.
Ride safely and take care of the 'cat. Hope to see you on a ride-out sometime.
Cheers,
Chris

Re: New rider in the west midlands
Hi Lawrence
Welcome aboard. You've made a great choice in the cat although you already knew that.
If you are as young as you say you are then you've got restrictions on the cat to stay legal I presume.
I've followed a cat that was restricted on a rideout and hardly noticed.
Treat her with lots of respect and she'll be nice back.
Hope you manage a ride out with us. We need more members attending and more cats too.
Cheers
Rosco

Hello & Welcome to the forum.
Be great if you could come to the ride out(s). But as said above though, if you post up when you're out and about maybe someone could meet up with you.
cheers & ride safe

Re: New rider in the west midlands
Hey Guys,
thank you all for welcoming me
I have just been looking at some of the upcoming meets and i am hopefully going to do my best to get to as many as possible as i would love to get more miles under my belt.
Also once i have cleaned my bike after the lot of use it has had the past 2/3 weeks i will post some pics up.
Also in reply to rossco yes i have kept it all legal by having it restricted to 33bhp but i tell you what the acceleration is still amazing and top speed i recon there is more than enough for what i need.
