MPG or GPM
after having a 125 i was a little worried about how much fuel would increase by having a much bigger bike, but i was very much surprised when i have filled up 4 times now, and all bar once i am getting between 190-210 miles before the light scomes on, is it just me being a complete softy with the throttle or this about right for the usual jaunt to work
Andy has the same bike (he is a bit on the looney side ) he only gets 90 to a tank but says he is never under 8000 rpm
(trip to work consists or A roads and bristol City centre)
what do you guys and gals get as a norm?

I'm thinking the throttle needs adjusting or the part that connects the handle bars to the seat!

Re: MPG or GPM
If it is only doing 90 miles then there is something drastically wrong with the fuelling on the bike. Does the end of the exhaust look excessively sooty?.

Re: MPG or GPM
Mine has been running on 3 cylinders for a lot of the last tank, and I still made 150 miles! Usually more like 180. 90 is way too low - I got more than that including a track day (and I wasn't hanging about).

He does know the has 6 gears and not just 4 !firemaster wrote: he only gets 90 to a tank but says he is never under 8000 rpm
Re: MPG or GPM
Sounds more like a 2nd gear problem. Can't get into it or above it.
