Plenty of spaces left
Hi Littlecat/Suzie,
There is indeed one bed unoccupied at the venue for Saturday night.
At the moment that would mean you'd have to share with a bloke - ahh, hence the rush for the last place!
I need to post up some more details about accommodation. There are plenty of B&B's in Woodhall Spa so there's no problem if more folk want to attend; you'll just have to de-camp to the B&B at the end of the night(s).
I'll add you both to the list, no deposit required at the min. I'm hoping there will be some more interest, so if anyone else wants to join the ToL please let me know - accommodation and meal details. Then I'll know what I need to sort out and can try my best for you.
If there's an issue it'll have to be first come first served, but you might like to start a separate off-venue group?
I'll post up again soon.
Cheers,
Chris

Re: Taste of Lincolnshire 2011
Hi Everyone,
I'm sorry to hear some of you can't make it. We'll sink a pint or two on your behalf and hope you can make it next year.
All is now set for this years ToL so here are a few final details. The rest will be covered once you get here.
I shall be at the venue The Village Limits from around 6pm on Friday 2nd Sept. I know some people are travelling quite a distance so it would be good if you could post up your estimated arrival time. Don't want your food sat on the table for hours.
Note that the parking area at the rear of the venue is gravel. Please take care there and on the ride in. You'll appreciate that on rural roads there's a likely to be some loose material on the surface!
Dinner is provisionally booked for 8:30pm on both nights. Food orders will not be taken much after 9pm.
For those staying at The Village Limits rooms will be allocated on first come first served basis. All are twins. Bring spare ear plugs!
Departure is scheduled for 9am from the car park at The Village Limits, Woodhall Spa. Lunch on Saturday will be at Foxton Locks nr Market Haybrough. Coffee/tea/comfort stops are scheduled for the morning and afternoon.
The route is now finalised. 222 miles with an option to shorten this if time runs out. I hope not as the last bit is the best bit and you'll miss a coffee stop. :bounce:
Fuel stops are fixed. Non are more than 100miles apart! We will stop for fuel in Woodhall at the start of the rideout so as long as you arrive with a couple of miles in the tank you'll be fine.
That's it for now. Have a safe ride in. See you at the bar!

Re: Taste of Lincolnshire 2011
Here's the planned route in case anyone wanted to see where we went. Meant to do this earlier, but have just been reminded by Manor69.
Of course none of us actually did the full mileage as we headed straight back to Woodhall from Horncastle at the end of the day - we just ran out of time. :(
At least some of us managed the section from R to S on Sunday morning. I can also recommend the section from S to T which was the start of ToL 2010.
Hope this is of interest.
Cheers,
Chris
