Everyone move house...
OK, perhaps not everyone, but the MSN site's moved, and so have I.
The new site looks good, so congrats to everyone involved in getting it sorted.
I'm now in Scotland (or possibly just off the coast of Scotland) on the Isle of Lewis. Need to have a chat with the Clan 'Cats about a rideout up round these parts - possibly an off-shore Big Mac (no bridges to these Isles, unlike Skye)?
Anyway, Happy New Year and here's to lots of miles in 2009!

Re: Everyone move house...
We're enjoying it so far. I'm still looking for work, but something will turn up.
There's been a few gales, but I suspect we haven't seen the worst that the weather can throw at us yet. Actually, it's been quite mild - but not mild enough to stop them gritting the roads, so I haven't actually made it out on the bike since arriving.
If you do pop over here in the summer, give us a shout and I'll put the kettle on!

Re: Everyone move house...
Hiya Kev, good to see you made the jump, hope you had a soft landing .
What made you move to the Isle of Lewis if not for a job? It must be long way from serious civilisation.

Re: Everyone move house...
The landing was fairly soft (although the whole process of getting up here was rather hard work). Jenny was offered a job up here, and as I was fed up with my job, we decided to go for it. It's giving me a chance to take a bit of a break from work, and possibly the option to do something completely different. As for being a long way from serious civilisation, yes it is and it's great!

Re: Everyone move house...
I'm not sure what I find more alarming...
1/ that Kev & co have decided emigrated to the frozen north...
2/ that Davie consider's Lewis to be a bona fide holiday destination...
Good luck and best wishes to all though.

Re: Everyone move house...
Hi Kev
Long time no speak to.
Glad to hear you've made it.
You really have moved up in the world ....... and North!
Hope you and the Mrs are settling in and coping with the weather.
I'd love to come and visit too as I've never been to the Isle of Lewis.
Might have a 'BigMac' visiting sometime soon......Whaddythink?
Give me a shout if you are passing or fancy a rideout (once the snow clears).
Cheers
