Another new guy

Hello.
I'm pretty new to biking and very new to online clubs but this looks like fun. I've owned my cat seven months and its my first bike since I came back to riding after a LONG time away from two wheels. Had some fun getting used to being a biker again and am hoping for a good summer to get some proper miles in. Pretty useless when it comes to maintenance so expect a few silly questions popping up from me in the future.

Hope to see a few of you out there on our potholed roads!

Looks like you've got the hang of posting up messages so you're more than half way there. You ust need to hone the following key skills - smut, sarcasm and general irreverence - and you'll fit right in!

Sorry to hear you've had the bike for the last 7 months unless you've just got back from down under. The weather has been cr@p - roll on Spring! Hope you get some quality miles under you belt this year; join one of our ride-outs. But like you say - avoid the pot holes, some sections of road are just crumbling away!

Oh, and Yorkshire is a big place, so if you care to be a little more specific you'll probably find other riders nearby who are happy to meet for a spin sometime.

Maybe it's just as well considering how lazy I am but the Cat doesn't seem to need that much maintainance - just the usual stuff. And don't worry about asking plenty of questions - this lot are as potty as a fruit cake but they're all great people and they're my kind of crazy

Just a quickie as it's half time of Arsenal v Barca. The colour's orange/black/silver and I'll put a photo on here when I've got some more (had to wipe laptop clean recently) and it's Yorkshire as in West.
