Thundercat Masterpiece taking shape.
Dont know whether this is the right area but...
After I got the cat I was talking to a guy at work who sketches cars as a hobby. He's done a couple of bikes but he jumped at the chance, and the £30, when i asked hime to do mine. Currently he is about 3/4 done but he progressively "saves" his work. So you get a kind if flick book of the picture taking place. Here are the stages so far... Let me know if you like them.
He is working from the photo of the bike I posted in the gallery.
His other work can be seen at http://www.redbubble.com/people/mrstevepearcy
Stage 1
Stage 2
Stage 3
Stage 4
Stage 5
Stage 6
Hopefully he'll get it finished this weekend, early next week, so I can hang the framed picture. plus I'll post the final few stages. It will be on his website though.
Stage 7
Steve worked another few hours last night and will definitely get it done this weekend. I can't wait!

Fantastic ... think £30 is quite cheap to be honest
(tho obviously it's not quite as nice as Ezzy's red/black and white )

But a little more rarer and therefore, dare I say it, special. Just like the owner... Not

Re: Thundercat Masterpiece taking shape.
I would like to say "Yes it was the blue one, the best colour of all" but i have to admit it was the one-coloured red one
The problem with doing it this way is that you need a photo of the cat in front of white back
And on a "normal" photo there will be something in the back, like a house, garden, car or something like that.
And cutting the cat out of this pictures (virtually) and put it on a white back is not so easy  (at least for me )

Wish I had the talent to draw like that! You've bagged yourself a bargin there
Re: Thundercat Masterpiece taking shape.
To all readers: He will do commissions also the cat will be on his web site where it can be bought. (A little more than I paid) And you can pick up the crayons / paints and colour the bike in whatever yours is!
Beware the commission cost may be a bit more as i was classed as a friend.
Also I've added stage 7. Its nearly done!
Here is the original photo we took at work.
