Hello folks
Hello folks, Just picked up a Thundercat as a more sensible/comfortable option to my GSXR (still has the fun factor too though which pleases me no end ) for riding whilst instructing. Just thought I'd introduce myself, I'll probably make a rideout sometime so hope to meet a few of you in the flesh one day.

Re: Hello folks
Thanks all
I still have the GSXR too, it's just not practical enough for following students on 125's and scooters really. I used to have a Bandit but a friend was selling his cat and I always liked it so here we are a cat owner after all this time.
I'm in Chesterfield Derbyshire. I'll get round to updating my profile soon

Re: Hello folks
I do not still have the gsxr because i crashed it. The cat was supposed to be a few month bike while i fixed the gsxr up but i fell in love & sold the gsxr & kept the cat. I too did a bit of instructing helping a friend do cbts but full time job meant i did not have time to do the necessary exams to instruct properly.

Hi redcloud,
Welcome to the site.
Good to hear of a 'cat fulfilling another role - it's a multi-talented beast
So how do you find the mirrors? Good enough for instructing? Just wondering how your getting on with them.
Hope you can make a rideout sometime.
Cheers,
Chris

Hi Redcloud
I've always been told to be wary of red mist.
I'm sure a red cloud will be fine though.
Welcome to the site.
Cheers

Re: Hello folks
Thanks for the warm welcome folks
greencat, she's not had her maiden voyage as my instructor bike yet as I need to do a service and sort the brakes, new sprockets & chain and a general fettle (bikes not been used for 2 years) so I'll let you know re. the mirrors.
Rosco, no red mist here mate just an old Sioux cheif
ellie, I'd be happy to point you in the direction of some great roads around Derbyshire and the peaks.
