Noob here
First topic message reminder :
Morning folks, My name is Dave, i am 19 and been riding for 3 years.
I decided a few weeks ago i was going to sell my honda hornet and buy a thundercat.
I am now searching for a not to pricy Cat, seen a few advertised on dealer websites but there isnt many going private
Hopefully i can learn abit more about the pro's and con's of this bike and get one as soon as possible !
thanks folks

Re: Noob here
Hi Davy
Hope the new bike works out for you.
Furraboots r ye?
I'm in sunny shotts but my cat is still tucked up in bed for at least another month. It is purely for pleasure for me.
If you haven't already spotted them we organise a wee mac (one day rideout) in April and big mac (a two day rideout) in August.
More than welcome to come along.
Cheers

Re: Noob here
well i went to look at it, and take it for a test ride.
Lovely bike, handling is spot on and seat is so comfy! A few things it needs, but i got it for a great price.
Pick it up next friday
so consider me a proper member now!

Good stuff Davy.
I'm not quite out of hibernation yet but as soon as the car stops going round roundabouts sideways I'll be out.
If you fancy a pootle about there are a few other thundercats aboot.
Ps. Where do you race marshall.
Cheers

Keep that pic and you can look back at it when the bike really gets dirty

Hee hee, that's the graphic designer in you! Fortunately everyone's different ,there are some folk on here who fall in the same category and others that don't , but I'm guessing there's not a lot of offers to swap bikes between the two! :rite:
The bike looks great BTW. You can clearly spot a classic. Hope to see it for real sometime.
Bit of advice - don't polish the seat, unless you intend wearing a cricket box when riding
