I wish I could say I had the opposite problem pmsl I've been learning on a Honda CBF500 and that is fine - the cat seat height is a little higher , I've yet to sit on one yet.

Yes, definately. In Germany we call the cat the "eierlegende Wollmilchsau" Wink

For the translation i had to look to a dictionary: "all-in-one device suitable for every purpose" Rolling Eyes green smile

Yes I was just thinking of that translation :lol3: It's going to be used mainly for traveling to work and back , a total journey of 68 miles - mainly motorway , dualcarriage ways , and a tiny bit in London. And sometimes for fun at the weekends .

Welcome in bud great

As one myself who is vertically challenged I'd personally not worry about the height issue at all, Sometimes it can be a disadvantage & at other times an advantage too (on & off the bike lachen ) , I always tend to get off the bike when manoeuvring backwards anyway as its easier than 'paddling' it.
I have a friend who rides a gixxer 750 & is 5'3" & she simply slides her arse to one side when stationary & places one foot on the floor & on track days she always laps all the blokes in her group link
Its all about confidence & you will soon gain that mate in buckets full, Remember the old saying 'The bigger they are the harder they fall' naughty

Cheers Nick

'The bigger they are the harder they fall'

I think it hurts when you fall however big or small you are, apart from those that are incredibly fat i suppose, then maybe you will bounce!! pokefun

Falling keeps me in a job....So keep it up folks!!! pmsl

yeah they're a big multi-marque dealer - Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Honda. Also have a massive discount centre and a fantastic burger van on Saturdays great

I'm pushing 5'11" so don't really know about the height thing, all I can say is that it's comfy for me! They can be a bit rare to find in dealers to have a sit on, but if you ever bump into me you're more than welcome to see how it fits Smile

Well i think the height thing should be answered by the 2 garden gnomes of the group

step forward Suzie and Chris(greencat)

they should be able to solve all height issues concerning the cat

i will now duck back behind the parapet and await the incoming pmsl :lol3: lol! hehe lol2
