Hi everyone
Hi everybody my name is paul i ride a 2001 yzf600r & love it so much & will never sell it. I have been riding about 11 years started with an old honda cg125 while doing my lessons for a big engine bike. When i passed i got a brand new suzuki gsxf 600 which was great but bought a gsxr 600k1 after only 8 months. The reason i got the cat was when i crashed the gsxr i needed another bike quickly while i repaired the gsxr & have loved it ever since. I have to thank stevecat for telling me about this site when me met on another thundercat forum. Look forward to meeting you guys at a ride out probably next spring i guess.

Re: Hi everyone
Hi Paul,
Welcome, glad you followed the link and signed up. Have a look around, you'll see the 'something for the weekend' section- the ride out I mentioned to you being on your doorstep is Surf and Turf. As you'll see we are quite active on our meets, and it would be great if you can join us when you can. (Ed. Read the archives for this years antics on the something for the weekends meets)
Read through the threads, and you'll find we're a friendly bunch if not bordering on the insane (so I'm at home here ) good bit of natter and banter and if you look hard you'll find some technical advice too
Is your bike still black or you got it back to Blue? Pop by the colour poll and add yours there. We make out we are very colour conscious and 'debate' which is best (.. nope won't say ), but at the end of the day your on a and enjoy it and so are most of us, so once again Welcome.
Oops, just seen your pics. I'll get the fire started by stating black is best (no bias at all)

Re: Hi everyone
Hi Paul,
Glad you found your way to the site - welcome.
I guess Steve's given you a summary of what's what here - so that'll be grounds for a law suit if you ever tell us what he said!
Hope you enjoy your time on here. The 'cat's a great bike. Had mine for 5 years but have now defected. If you want to get more miles in the saddle this is the perfect place. There are several weekend ride-outs planned each year so hope to see you at Bishops Castle which should be a great start to the season.
Ride safely,
Chris
