Just to let you all know.

Check in is from 4pm onwards on Friday.

The delivery is due between 6pm and 7pm.
Hopefully see most of you there before 6pm to help get the delivery in.

I know there are a few latecomers so we'll keep you some grub.

Karen, Rich and myself are going to inflict our culinary delights on you over the weekend.
I know I'll be looking for all the help i can get so I don't burn the pizza on Friday night.

We are both hoping that we can try and get away from work a bit earlier on Friday before the journey up.

Am keeping everything crossed that the weather improves over the next few days. Rob keeps threatening that he might keep Ewan and I company in the car but I am sure it will turn out fine.

Forecast for the Saturday is very good and Sunday might be a bit wet (but staying east might give us something better).

Unfortunately the forecast for today, tonight and tomorrow morning is rain, hail, sleet and snow. Welcome to Scotland in Spring

Digs are open from 4pm and the tesco delivery is sometime from 6-7pm.
No rush to get there just take it easy on the roads please folks.

Yep - looks worse in the morning around Broadmeadows but the snow/sleet turns to rain in the afternoon so that suits us.

Where are we heading for the rideouts then Ross? Do you have fixed plans or is it just a follow the blue sky treasure hunt?

Take it easy on the way over folks, hopefully after a cold wet Friday it'll get better over the weekend. Looking forward to catching up with everyone!

Yeah, you may call me a wuss but the car is looking nice and cozy for the trip up tomorrow.
The BBC says snow up till 8 in the evening and I don't fancy that when it's dark, on the bike. Come off once before in snow but luckily that was on my work contraption.

Saturday looks good, Sunday the odd heavy rain with showers and Monday is wet with gales coming into play.

Saturday I'm thinking - East, North then Edinburgh for some pics, over the bridge, over another bridge and then the Kelpies for pics and then south for home.
Sunday is more work in progress to try to avoid the rain.

Sunset is about 8:45pm in Selkirk Rob.

One day he'll leave a trail of parts all the way into Shotts and roll into his driveway, balancing like a unicyclist on his front forks.

It's doing better than my neighbours R1.
You can tell when he's out on it, since you can hear it backfiring from about 2 miles away.

Rosco has one of them as well, known as BOS 2 it also backfires, farts a little and belches out huge clouds of smoke. Just wish that when I was in the motor trade that my business was in the Shotts area I'd have made a fortune.
