Breaking the Cat UPDATED LIST
hi
my names Andy from sunny Essex
I ride a fazer 600 and an AJP ultrapasser on the green lanes.
I will be a 100% honest here
I have joined the forum as I currently have 2/3rds of a thundercat that I am breaking,
I am not an dealer, I am not here to make loads of money, I will be advertising the parts on ebay when I get chance so this forum is not vital to me. I am a member on the fazer forum so come and have a look
Mods please delete me if you see fit I wont be offended
basically the bike is not stolen I do have the v5 but it cannot go back on the road
I think there are loads of good bits that would be of benefit to anyone running a thundercat,
I don't have fairing or forks or switchgear or rear caliper,
but I do have nearly everything else including
rear wheel with disc and usable tyre, SOLD
good fuel tank no dents but some light scratches SOLD
carbs SOLD
radiator and fan SOLD
swinging arm
engine apart from the starter motor cover all the cases look in good nick very little corrosion and no road rash SOLD
fuel pump SOLD
rear shock - not leaking SOLD
complete wiring loom
lock set SOLD
bottom yolks
cdi
rear hugger
rear indicators
rear mudguard - not been chopped
regulator/rectifier
front calipers and master cylinder etc SOLD
and loads more
please make an offer if interested
I HAVE ADDED MORE BITS ON EBAY
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

sorry speedo and wheel gone as well
also I would like to say thanks for accepting me on here,
I have been reading a few of the post there seems to be a good bunch of people with some real knowledge and not just a bunch of keyboard warriors like some of the forums

Glad you like the old place Andy. As you noticed we're blessed with a distinct lack of overinflated egos here abouts
(swiftly looks about for some wood to touch)

Hi Andy,
Welcome to the forum. I hope your parts list can help out those members who are running Thundercats - there are still quite a few of them about.
What happened to the bike? I'm sure a few are thinking the same question.
Hope you find us friendly. Maybe you'll stick around?
Cheers,
Chris

I got the 2/3 of the bike in lue of money owed, all I was told has that the bike could not go back on the road but as the engine and chassis and reg numbers all matched and it was registered against the address it was collected from and in the blokes name,

Re: Breaking the Cat UPDATED LIST
the cheapest tank I can see on ebay without any dents is £40 it does not include tap or sender
so I would like £35 its black and silver, mine comes with fuel tap and fuel sender + £8.50 postage no dents but a slight scuff on the top this may polish out but I have not tried it
the cheapest carbs I can see are £60
so I would like £50 + £6 postage
I will include all the rubber bits that attach to carbs that I can find, the carbs look very clean in my opinion
or £90 for both including postage
bike millage was 16000
thanks Andy

hi Paul
the cheapest I can see on ebay is £25 per caliper plus £12 hoses and £20 for master cyclinder
so how about £50 for the lot
I will pm you my mobile I am out and about working in the Chelmsford area most days so we may be able to meet up during the day if that helps
