Hello to everyone. Just passed my test and got myself a 97 Thundercat . Been out the last 2 days round about the Ayrshire coast . Cold but amazing fun! Hopefully I can work out how to upload a picture of the beauty. Cheers and maybe meet one or two of you out and about.

Apart from that come and have a good look round, we're a really friendly bunch (on the whole) Laughing

Have a look in Something for the weekend for group ride outs, usually some fun, frolics and suitable for all riding abilities from newb to veteran.

Any questions you've got get them asked, the only stupid question is the the one you don't ask Very Happy

congrats on passing and getting the cat. there's a good collection of north of the boarder cat riders now!
the only advice that can be given is don't take tips from rosco on keeping your bike clean...

We're having a reoccurring bout of snow down here, day 3 of being grounded Crying or Very sad

Impressed to see you managed to get a day when it wasn't raining!! Nice looking bike... hope you have many safe miles on her.

Hi Darzo,

Welcome to the site and congratulations on passing your test. You're going to love the bike and hopefully we can help out with advice (when needed), meets (you've gotta join the rideouts) and banter (numpty points and bring folk down to earth a speciality! Very Happy

).

There's a few members (careful choice of words there) in your neck of the woods so I'm sure you'll be able to meet up sometime.

Take it easy on the bike. Get to know her and remember if you start to feel things are getting out of control then they are! Back off, slow down and take control. Hope I'm not offending, but it takes time to get to know a bike and we hate to hear of anyone having an off.
