Maximum Cats

The piccy of the Cats on the home page has set me thinking if we could set a meet that could beat that?

Just a Saturday or Sunday meet with the express aim of getting as many Cats in one place as possible.

Sounds like a fab plan. Just a thought as well when choosing a location would be worthwhile getting a local landmark for the shoot for maximum impact. Couple of weeks ago to mark the end of Arriva operations in Scotland we took enough buses to fill the entire arc of the Clyde Arc Bridge in Glasgow and the pictures were rather impressive the buses complimented by the arc of the bridge, Clydebuilt crane and the Armadillo in the background.

This is a fantastic idea Tony, well done. Should have done it last year before I flogged mine, but then if Anna joins in, Mine will be there after all

Cheers for the support everybody. One evening this week i will start scribing 125 radius circles from the location.

I like the local land mark idea.

A date that suits everynbody will be the next tricky point.

Sometime in June/July or August to give people plenty of daylight travelling time.

Re the message to all members there must be an option in there as other forums I am on do blanket mail outs for important changes. If this come soff could be really good, a parked up one will look good but if we could arrange a rolling picture it would be amazing - think load of T'cats from a high vantage point, bridge over M'way etc, there were some good ones from the McCrae run involving loads of Scoobies on the motorway. If we can get enough bikes one of the local Yamaha dealers near picture venue may get involved for a bit of PR, bacon sarnies and a captive audience as a meet up point.

Happy to try help in any way I can if and when this is happening

Having drawn a few circles my initial thoughts for a venue is Donnington Park.

This could be a bit far for the Scotish and far south. However it is a reasonable distance for the NW, Midlands, Humberside, Lincs etc riders

Any any other ideas folks

340 miles to angel of the north , bit far for a piccy, UNLESS you photo shop it

Most people are around the midlands and Donington park is about 200/250 miles for the far northern and southern riders.
