South of the Border - Heading North
Hi Guys,
Thought I'd start a standalone thread for everybody heading north to assemble and travel together if they so wish.
Details of the Dales mob plans to follow shortly.....

Re: South of the Border - Heading North
Folks, looks as if I'll be working in Hull on the Friday, finish time uncertain but hopefully early afternoon. I know that Terry is travelling up seperately with a few of the other guys but they're setting off early doors to make a day of it.
I know the roads up to to the venue fairly well and will be picking a nice twisty interesting route north. If anybody wants to travel up with me they are more than welcome but I won't be able to confirm timing until a couple of weeks before. and if it's late afternoon I will be, ahem, 'making progress' so that I'm there before closing time

Re: South of the Border - Heading North
If the others are leaving early on the Friday then I would be interested in your plans (if my bike is fit and well). I was going to head up the A1, cut across the Dale/ Lakes (to have a play) and then head up to Selkirk.

Re: South of the Border - Heading North
I'm off that week anyway. I would prefer to set off early afternoon, at the latest but lets see if anyone else is interested and make plans nearer the date.

Re: South of the Border - Heading North
I won't know when I'll be finished until Tues 11th, I'm on a course which is using a bit of kit I helped develop so it would be rude to disappear early the first time it's being used in anger!
Working at Sutton Fields Ind Estate if anyone knows where that is, could meet at Fimber, Seaways, Squires etc.

I could meet you at work and we could ride up together. I'm just off Holderness Road near East Park so only 10 mins away. Bout post details when you can abnd we can sort it out the Wednesday / Thursday.
But as there is no bar, just tinnies, I'm sure they wil save some.

Re: South of the Border - Heading North
All, I'm going to set off around lunch time and take a ride up to Scotch Corner, to meet Littlecat at around 2:30 / 3:00. Anyone else fancy joining me / us?
Eddie, have you found out when you can leave work? I could delay leaving until around 12:30 if you can make it.
Cheers Rich.

Re: South of the Border - Heading North
Rich, pm me your mob number and I'll do the same. Looking like lunchtime finish but got a couple of issues with the bike so might need to head home to sort it out first.
I'll let you know what the crack is on Fri morning.

Bike still in several small pieces, so I'll need to head home first after work this morning. :-(
