Chopper Frame.... Rigid Rear + Bit's
1970's-Early 80's..?????
Have been doing some research on this frame and from what I have found out it is an early frame from the 70's-80's and could either be a Uncle Bunt frame or Ray Leon which were both well sort after and well known in this era.
I bought this from a friend with all intentions of building it over the winter, but I already have a couple of bikes and some other bits on the go as well,so I just havent got the time or space to get this one under way,so it's got to go.
I think it is an early chopper frame as it was on the road for some years on a Suzuki GS750 running gear, before someone decided to pull it apart and do a complete restore on it.
It is a genuine frame and is not on of these hacked up re- welded things you see.
There is a pair of forks that are over size (I dont know by how much) and the stantions need some chroming. It has a peanut style chop tank that is in real good solid condition. There is a rear fender that has been shot blasted the same as the frame and also a plastic streamline front guard. There is a sissy bar in good solid condition which needs re-coating and also a banana style chopper seat which still has the original label on the under side.
This frame and the bits are the starting block of a real nice Chopper,Hog,Lowrider, and I was going to base it on a Bandit, but there is room for most large engines.
If you need any more pics please ask and please only bid to buy.
If you want to come and view this project, that is fine just give me a call on 07890594184 and ask for Steve
I want £400 for the lot,but I am open to sensible offers, but will not split.
Thanks for Looking
