Crikey!
If Honda is the Power of Dreams then Nissan must be the stuff of nightmares.
Numpty point to Mister Nissan.

And apparently 'all' bikers are reckless and law breakers , but car drivers are all angelic and lawful all the time!

Good point! I think their marketeers were optimistic about their cars handling, speed and general sporting abilities

Re: ok nissan what the hell is that
Is this for real? Who do they think their target market is with this car? In reality its the same market as the Honda Jazz and their owners are not known for tearing about anywhere let alone being rubber suited vigilantes.

Re: ok nissan what the hell is that
I nearly laughed at a Juke taking on a sports bike when I first watched it......... But the thought of how many dumbass car drivers who might actually think its acceptable soon took that thought away

OFCOM can't do anything about it and the clue is in the video itself.
nissan.ca
.ca is the country code for Canada.

Re: ok nissan what the hell is that
That ad will go around the world like wildfire, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a sales hit and an apology forthcoming from Nissan.
Given the state of the worlds economy, you have to wonder why some cretins thought that would be a good advert.
It crossed my mind that it might be a gamble, but if it is, then I reckon it's a bad one.
I'm off Nissan's forever anyway. (for unrelated reasons)
Bought an Almera a few years ago (it was at the right price) and the timing chain stretched even though it had only done about 60k. (A timing chain should be good for double that at the very least.)
Nissan denied the chain was an issue and instead blamed an engine sensor (cheap excuse) which you could get replaced for free at any dealer.
This alleviated the problem for a few weeks, but as the chain stretched more, the engine ran like a cow again.
...one of the brakes kept seizing as well, and continued to do so even after the caliper was replaced.
Anyhoo, upshot was that it cost me £650 to get the chain replaced and two weeks later a lorry ran into the back of me and wrote the bloody thing off.
To add insult to injury, the car was still under finance and I had to fork out the best part of a grand to clear it.
That was me £1500 down in a fortnight, with no car and a new found hatred of the Nissan brand.
In the end I scraped together £750 and bought an old P reg Honda Accord for work. I rattled about 70k on it over two years and it never let me down once.
(Oh and I sold it for £450 to a guy I bumped into in the street who'd heard I was punting it.)
Guess which make and model of car I'm currently driving?

Re: ok nissan what the hell is that
It's in pretty poor taste though.
...not as poor as if it was kids on tricycles it was running over with a Nazi banner steaming out of the sunroof, but still pretty poor.

Re: ok nissan what the hell is that
Man this is awful!
Apparently all motorbike riders are 'predators'....HA!
If they think just by putting a motorbike in their ad, they are making it 'cool' then they are hugely mistaken!

Re: ok nissan what the hell is that
Am I the only one that thinks the animated heroine is a hotty .......
Do you think if I bought a Nissan Juke she would come to life and come with the car ?
In poor taste but in the end of the day its an advert and if someone is stupid enough to think I will buy a Nissan Juke and then ram motorbikes then frankly they have issues that an advert is not going to affect - they will be dangerous tw@ts with or without a badly thought out advertising concept.

According to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] there are only 3 Montego 1.6's left on the road. I wonder how many GPZ1000RX's there are?

Re: ok nissan what the hell is that
The Nissan luxury brand Infiniti are also running an ad campaign in Canada with the strapline: "If no-one ever challenged the status quo, the Earth would still be flat!"
If it's the same company they're using for their Nissan ads, you'd have to admit they can't be the brightest bulbs on the tree.
