Re: My New Cat !
I have just noticed that the mushroom protector is on the front bolt & i am sure it is supposed to go on the back one because the frame is stronger there. Maybe someone chime in to confirm.

No dictionary could help me with that
I guess you mean the black protector for the fairing
If not - don't go on with reading
If yes - i don't have such protector at my cat, but when i look at the photos in the german forum or in the gallery here everybody has it on the front bolt
For example:

(i hope the last link is possible )
Re: My New Cat !
That is exactly what i meant toni. The pictures nice bikes by the way have the protector at the front so i guess ia am wrong. I still think the frame is stronger at the back though.

Re: My New Cat !
take it you mean the crashbung? If so mine is same place - i assumed it was there because front is wider than the back i'm such a goon - that said on the occasions i dropped mine it was always the back indicator that broke as Pete will testify so what do i know lol

Re: My New Cat !
Hi everyone , thanks for your nice comments about my bike . On the subject of crash bungs - i think that is the correct place for them

Re: My New Cat !
Same here - front bolt. I assume that this placement gives the best protection of the fairing (if on the rear bolt then the front of the fairing might touch-down). Still, it's a good point that you have them at all - someone clearly took care of the bike.
